The Peninsula Saddle Club offers horse camping at the beach. No matter the time of year, you can enjoy a getaway on the beautiful Long Beach Peninsula. Just load up your horses and come on out. Everyone will have a blast, your horses will love you for the change in scenery, and nothing beats a sunset on horseback!
Our campgrounds are located on 10 beautiful acres with a large arena and track. Use this to warm up your horses before heading down to ride on 28 miles of sandy beach. You can ride from the grounds or trailer to the different beach approaches.
We have pens and corrals that can be reserved with a 3 day’s notice before arrival or it will be first come, first serve. You are welcome to bring your own portable pens. We provide dry camping only, with no hookups. There are restroom facilities, but no showers. Showers are available at different locations in the area.
The cost is $25 per night, which includes one vehicle w/trailer. Each additional vehicle is $10/night. Horse Pens $10/night and Large Corrals $20/nights.
Day use. Haul in fee. $15 per vehicle and trailer. Day use of pen additional $10.
We are closed to horse camping during our annual rodeo which is held on the last weekend in July and during the Junior Rodeo weekend the first weekend in August.
